Hematology-Oncology

Medical oncologists and hematologists are doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and diseases of the blood. They coordinate your overall care and direct your chemotherapy and related treatments. These physicians work closely with other cancer specialists to provide you with comprehensive, integrated care. Other caregivers who may become involved in your care include doctors and nurses specializing in surgical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, urology, radiology and pathology.
