Beth J. Stearman, MPH
Beth Stearman, MPH joined the Center as Administrative Director in November 2012. She has been on staff at Penn since 2010 as a Project Director at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics- Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics where she oversaw the development of a web based platform used to support clinical trials testing a range of health promotion interventions. Ms. Stearman completed her Master in Public Health degree at Temple University in Philadelphia and prior to joining the staff at Penn, she spent 10 years working in the Risk Assessment Program at Fox Chase Cancer center, managing various breast cancer prevention studies. In her new role, Ms. Stearman is responsible for administrative oversight for all aspects of the Center including development and management of the Basser Research Center grants program, organization and administration of global Basser Research Prize and working closely with Abramson Cancer Center development, marketing, public relations and business administration staff to advance the Center’s mission.
