Research Expertise

Our research focuses on human genetics and gene regulation. Our projects include identification of cis and trans?acting regulators of gene expression, and genetics of individual differences in unfolded protein response as well as response to ionizing radiation. We are also studying our recent discovery of RNA sequences that differ from the underlying DNA sequences (RDDs) by assessing the extent of RDDs in human cells and determining the molecular basis that underlies RDDs.
