December 5, 2012

Susan Domchek, MD, executive director of the Basser Research Center and an associate professor in the division of Hematology-Oncology in the Abramson Cancer Center, and Barbara A. Bernhardt, MS, CGC, Genetic Counselor and Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Center for the Integration of Genetic Healthcare Technologies, were guests on WHYY Radio's Radio Times, discussing advances in genetic testing. While these advances are allowing physicians to better diagnosis, treat, and even prevent some diseases, sometimes testing can turn up more information than patients want, or findings for which there is not yet a clinical care strategy.
